Symptoms:
- Dongle not detected. Suggested actions: securely reinsert the dongle and reinstall the dongle driver.
- Missing license file.
- License file fails to open or is corrupted.
- Dongle information does not meet standards; a new license and update program are required.
- License file and dongle serial number do not match.
- License file has expired and needs renewal.
Cause Analysis:
These are common licensing issues typically identified by specific error codes. Appropriate license updates should be performed according to the error prompts.
Recommended Solutions:
- Follow your company’s standard procedures for license file updates based on the error codes provided.
- License files differ between AC-DMIS versions 4.0 and 5.0. When upgrading from V4 to V5, a new dongle must be installed and refreshed with the update program.
- For “Super Dongle” licenses, submit an authorization request file to the company. Once the new license file is generated, update the license accordingly.
- When installing AC-DMIS software on Windows 7 64-bit systems, ensure the 64-bit AC-X64 version of the software is installed. Otherwise, you may receive a “dongle not detected, please reinstall dongle driver” error.
