Multi-Sensor CMMs

Most parts carry both features suited to tactile probing — bores, planes, threads — and features only optics can reach: thin-wall edges, micro-geometry, compliant surfaces. A multi-sensor machine places tactile, vision and laser sensors in a single coordinate system so every feature is captured in one setup. That removes transfer and realignment between machines, and with it the datum mismatch that otherwise creeps into the result.
