The Rotarus series is a gear measuring centre built on German technology, achieving accuracy and long-term stability at the leading domestic level. It is designed for dedicated gear inspection departments, metrology rooms and research institutes.
It measures internal and external spur and helical gears, spiral bevel gears with constant or tapered depth, involute splines, hobs, shaving cutters, shaper cutters, and worms and worm wheels. Measuring ranges and accuracy classes for each model appear in the specification table below.
Key features
- Principal components in natural granite — dimensionally stable, resistant to deformation, thermally steady
- Air bearing guideways on all linear axes for accuracy and smooth motion
- Rotary axis with high rotational accuracy, strong rigidity, minimal wear, high load capacity and long service life
- Correction for both workpiece setup error and machine geometric error
- Two-computer host and controller architecture, with drives that deliver strong dynamic performance and high throughput
- High-accuracy encoder feedback, resistant to contamination and electrical noise
- Supports both 1D and 3D scanning probes
- Coordinate error correction and eccentricity correction further improve measuring accuracy
- Fully owned intellectual property and multiple patents, with flexible software configuration
