Controllers

The controller handles servo drive, scale acquisition and real-time probe trigger processing, and so governs dynamic accuracy and achievable scanning speed. Besides supply with new machines, these systems are used to retrofit existing CMMs: where the mechanical structure is still sound but the control electronics are obsolete or underpowered, replacing the control system is usually far cheaper than replacing the machine.
